Biography
Dr. Shuaa Basalom
Dr. Basalom is a distinguished double board-certified clinical geneticist with extensive clinical experience. She refined her expertise through rigorous residency and fellowship training at McGill University and her practice at the University of Saskatchewan. A true pioneer in her field, Dr. Basalom established the first genetics community clinic in Montreal and the first private preventive genetic medicine practice in Québec.
Outside of her professional endeavours, Dr. Basalom cherishes time with her four children and participates in wellbeing retreats and workshops.
