Deoveth Bulagao

Biography

Born and raised in the enchanting province of Antique in the Philippines, Deoveth Bulagao embarked on a journey in healthcare fueled by a childhood passion for science and a dream of becoming a doctor. Taking the first steps toward this goal, Deoveth pursued studies in Midwifery at the University of the Philippines, obtaining licensure in 2001.

Launching into a fulfilling career as a midwife from 2001 to 2004, Deoveth Bulagao expanded professional horizons by undertaking nursing studies at the University of Perpetual Help Rizal in the Philippines. Graduating in 2009, she earned registered nurse status the same year. The subsequent years were dedicated to the Emergency Room setting in the Philippines, from 2010 to 2012.

In 2018, Deoveth relocated to Canada, continuing the healthcare journey. Beginning as a PAB at MGH from 2021 to 2022, she furthered professional growth by completing the equivalency as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 2022, securing licensure in 2023.

What Deoveth finds most rewarding about the healthcare profession is the privilege to extend care, empathy, and genuine concern to patients. It brings immense fulfillment each time there is an opportunity to demonstrate the team’s deep commitment to patient well-being, ensuring they feel valued as unique individuals.
